AUSD Superintendent Marla Stephenson recently presented her proposed 2011 - 2012 budget in response to the news that the state is expected to cut $9 billion from public K - 12 education. This funding reduction represents a loss of at least $330 per child in Albany schools, and will result in our kids losing valuable programs and services across all grade levels.
